The Genie Signature Series Max Performance 4062-TKNMSO premium screw drive garage door opener has an ultra-quiet 2 HPc DC motor that provides the ultimate combination of power and speed. It is twice as fast as most chain or belt drive garage door opener models. This model is an extended garage door opener specifically designed for 7 ft. high garage doors. It also has a GenieSense enabled 140-Volt DC motor paired with a proprietary maintenance-free direct screw drive system that increases strength, power and provides unmatched durability for the heaviest doors. The Signature Series Max Performance 4062-TKNMSO garage door opener comes equipped with Intellicode technology that prevents unauthorized persons from opening your garage door. Accessories and functionality include 2 pre-programmed 3 button garage door remotes, a wireless exterior keypad, and a wall control panel with an independent light button and vacation lock for added security. Easy installation. Very quite and smooth when operating. The only drawback I see is the actual track when put together should have set screw as the click in tabs allow for a 1/8” gap that moved during opening and closing. I drilled 2 holes and used screws to secure the track of anymore movement when opening or closing.

RECOMMENDED (SCREW DRIVE & NO WIFI !!) This was a replacement for a +20yr old chain driven opener that finally gave up.Screw drive is sweet! Noticeably quieter and faster than the legacy unit. (7ft Double Door opens in 8secs, and closes in 12secs)Shipping from HD was much faster than anticipated. Instructions are reasonable ; Genie has some good Website and YouTube videos to supplement the paper instructions.Instructions infer 2-4hrs to retro fit this - while I'm reasonably handy, took me longer (even allowing for a couple of "surprises" from whomever installed the legacy opener)So if you are looking for Garage Opener without WiFi, I've no problem recommending this unit.(And I think you can buy an additional WiFi board if you change your mind later - which I will not)

This is a terrific garage door opener. I have a heavy, wooden, two-car garage door. My old garage door could not lift it on cold days. The Genie MachForce Plus 2 HP lifts it easily--and quickly. I actually adjusted the settings to slow it down. It's a great opener, and the instructions are helpful.

Used it to replace a 24 year old Genie, this one is faster, and quieter. For the homeowner who doesn't do this all the time, the installation was a job, but at 68 years, getting up and down a ladder aint what it used to be, MUCH WORSE. As far as the programming etc., all that stuff is now easier as you would expect. Saved 0 doing it myself, the garage door guys wanted 0. Worth it for two days of putzying, have a buddy over for a beer and some moral support.

The install took a little longer than we thought, but that's because our garage door is extremely heavy and we needed to add extra bracing for the opener. The unit is quiet and opens pretty quickly with a soft slow close just before the pavement. You may want to pick up an additional remote for in the house. This comes with 2 small car remotes, one remote for inside the garage, and an outdoor keypad. Overall we are very satisfied. Would recommend.

When I bought my house (1989) it had a Genie garage door opener. In 2003 I replaced it with a Genie excelerator. In 2020 I have replaced it with the MachForce opener. The openers were still operational when I replaced them.I was concerned by there age. Over the years I have had a few problems but they were all resolved quickly using Genies Tech support (excellent). So far the new opener has met my expectations. We go in and out of the door several (many) times a day. I hope the MaxForce will proform as well as my past openers. The opener is quite and was not hard to install.
