Opto-isolated USB IR Adapter for Fluke

Overview
This module is designed to use as a replacement to the Fluke IR189USB which could be used to establish a communication link between a multimeter and a PC. The USB to UART bridge chip is a ubiquitous CH340 with external industrial grade crystal which ensures accurate timing for quality asynchronous communication. The IR diode and the PIN diode are carefully selected that the transmitted signal strength is optimized and received signal to noise ratio is improved.

Compact size
The mounting socket in the picture is designed to work with Fluke 280 series DMMs. It probably won’t fit on other multimeters.
